Ok, take a seat today I’m going to talk about Feeds and Blogger lists…….
First up, Feeds, now, some of you will be wanting just to blog for yourself and don’t care if others read it, however a lot of you want to be read/seen so you will want to publicise yourself, the easiest way to draw in the hits is to be on some feeds. Most SL feeds have requirements to apply, usually a blog that’s been around for at least 3 months. Look here for the various Second Life feeds. Ok, now for potential controversy with Blogger lists……
I went to Summerfest again, and picked up this Ukulele from Balaclava there.
You can buy a variety of colours and each version has a wearable and a rezzable Ukelele, I bought it because I am thinking about learning the Banjo, I just really want to learn a stringed instrument
It’s hard to keep track of quality events in SL, but there is a new one out now, Summerfest TAXI which is all beach/summer/holiday type things, from furniture to clothes, to skins.
I dashed in there quick yesterday, but will go back tomorrow for a better look
So, I lied, I’m not doing a ‘if you press the lensflare button again I’m going to rap your knuckles with a wooden ruler’ post, for chapter 3, I’ve decided.
So, what I’ve done instead is a basic pic taking tutorial, for location shots. Click through to see the completed images
(on WordPress don’t know blogspot, sorry) I’m trying to be helpful!
Welcome to the wonderful world of blogging SL things, if you are new to this, or you didn’t mash enough buttons in wordpress there may be things you didn’t know before….. oooh
So, feeds, you all want to be on them, and there is a little bit of etiquette about feeds that you should be using in your blogs, firstly cuts, now, cuts are important because if you are pic happy and take dozens of photos, it’s a little obnoxious to take up an entire page of the feed, so what you do is introduce your post, put in a cool picture and if people would like to see more, they will click through, this will also assist you in raising your blog stats, the amount of views you get when you post. Also, some feeds do not allow NSFW images, so you can place them under the cut and not risk being booted off a feed.
